Corset is a tight garment worn to hold the shape of the waist of a women and to make it look slimmer. It was usually worn to improve the posture of the body but later on it became a fashion statement which helped to make body of a women more appealing and attractive because it made the waist look slimmer and the bottom a bit wider.
This Corset although was very popular among women but to wear it on daily basis waa not less than any punishment because it was very tight and constricted. Using corset on daily basis also made the waist of women permanently slim and of hourglass shape.
