why the current is constant in series cicuit and voltage is not and in parallel circuit voltage is constant and current is not. why?

CURRENT HAS A SIGNAL PATH AND VOLTAGE IS DIVIDED AS PER THE RESISTANCE VALUES IN SERIES CIRCUIT.
IN PARALLEL CIRCUITS, ALL THE LOADS ARE CONNECTED ON THE SAME 2 TERMINALS AND VOLTAGE IS CONSTANT; CURRENT FLOWS THROUGH MULTIPLE PATHS.
