Why the dark colour clothes feel hot?

Hello !....well u might have heard about black body radiation theory...if not..then let me explain....black bodies(or darker coloured bodies) absorb heat to a larger extent as compared to light coloured bodies ..so they tend to heat up easily...that is why we wear dark coloured clothes in winter to absorb as much heat as we can from the sun to keep warm...same reason is there why cooking vessels have a black base
