Why the derivative is reverse of integral?

Actually the opposite of integration should be differential rather than derivative.

The difference is that differential isf`(x) times dx. (“differentiate” the f(x))

By definition, Integration means to “integrate” all the very small division of the graph, whose vertical and horizontal lengths are dy, dx, and sof`(x) = dy/dx. So the sum of dy (integration) = f`(x) dx, and this is why you always see there’s a dx or d(xxx) at the end.
