Explanation:

Everything attracts to each other, and in reality there is no such phenomena as “revolve”, there is just gravity vs expansion (of the universe). Gravity due to mass/physical presence bends spacetime and thus attracts other physical entities like glue or magnets, expansion and/or presence of sub-planck particles / possibility waves (opposite of physical matter, what science believed to be 'empty'/'vacuum' just 10 years ago) does the exact opposite.

As comment to another answer here: It's a thug of war, just not just between different masses, but also between mass, spacetime itself and expansion/antimass (not antimatter which is mass).

So the sun and the earth is on a expansion trajectory, but they attract each other, the force of expansion is in balance with gravity resulting in the sun/earth not crashing directly into eachother, eventually either mass or expansion will dominate spacetime - resulting in either the sun and earth crashing into one another or resulting in the sun / earth loosing their grip on one another and thus continuing their expansion trajectory solo.

This pull/push on spacetime and everything attracting everything goes for every single particle in the universe, the solar system is attracted to the milky way galaxy’s bardycenter (center of pull/gravity/mass median) and so fourth.

Example: The earth vs moon attraction isnt really that, its.moon vs earth vs moon vs sun, moon vs jupiter, moon vs the ISS space station, moon vs milky way galaxy bardycenter, moon vs some rock billions of light years away etc., and there is a bardycenter for each entity and each compliation, example: the sun vs earth vs moon has a bardycenter, the moon vs sun has another etc. The bardycenter is just a median of mass within a given space.

A permanent mathematical correct something “revolving” / “circling around” something doesnt exist unless its manmade/mechanical, everything else is just a temporary “turn” of trajectory, a distraction that will eventually loose its grip or result in collision/fusion. Its the same mechanisms as on atomic scale, how fusion and fission/radiation is made possible in e.g. stars like the sun.

Radiation is in reality just that: particles following the expansion trajectory of the universe/big bang/spacetime at small scale.

Your question is a falsity, the earth does not revolve around the sun, its just taking a temporary turn in its trajectory a couple of billion times. Everything ultimately and permanently (as far as science knows yet) ‘revolves’ towards expansion.

Hope u understand this !

Have a nice day dear!!✌️

Just as the Moon orbits the Earth because of the pull of Earth's gravity, the Earth orbits the Sun because of the pull of the Sun's gravity. ... But the gravity of the Sun alters its course, causing it to travel around the Sun, in a shape very near to a circle.

Hope it will helps
