Why the earth rotates and not us?

It’s because you and everything else – including Earth’s oceans and atmosphere – are spinning along with the Earth at the same constant speed.

It’s only if Earth stopped spinning, suddenly, that we’d feel it. Then it would be a feeling similar to riding along in a fast car, and having someone slam on the brakes!

Here is your answer:

》When earth is rotating we are also moving along with at a constant speed so,we doesnt feel that we are moving.when the earth suddenly stops then we feel it like tusnami etc..

Example;

when you are in the car you doesnt know that you are moving .if we doesnot see outside.when the car do brakes then we feel that we ate moving.
