why the energy needs of plants is much less than the animals

plants are stationary at one place but animals have to move in search of their food and hence they require more energy

We know that plants don't move while animals have to move in search of food.

So, we can say that animals need more energy to move, hence, animals need more energy than plant to do its daily works.
