Why the explosion sound on moon not hear on the erth surface?

The explosion sound on moon is not heard on the earth surface because sound require a medium to travel but as there is no air in the universe that is there is vacuum in the universe therefore the sound cannot travel in the absence of a medium so not only on moon but an explosion in any part of the universe will not be heard on earth.

Now, the space between the moon and the earth surface doesn't contain any material medium through which sound waves can propagate and that's the reason we are not able to hear the explosion.
