why the fire in gas and lighter are blue then yellow ​

ANSWER

The lower blue part if the flame indicates efficient combustion. But the yellowish color just above is the result of incandescence of the tiny (can be nanopartuckes) carbon soot particles. Not all of the hydrocarbon fuel,is being completely oxidized to carbon dioxide and water.
