Formation of the Forward Bloc. The Forward Bloc of the Indian National Congress was formed on June 22, 1939 by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, who had resigned from the presidency of the Indian National Congress on 29 April after being outmaneuvered by Mohandas K. Gandhi.

Subhash Chandra Bose form a forward bloc because he resigned from his post by being a President also Mahatma Gandhi used to interfere in his work so he thought that he had resigned from his post and form a new party so that he could do whatever you want...Forward bloc was formed on may 1939...
