Why the frog is hiding in mud?

Frogs hide in mud because they need to keep their skin moist which they breathe through their skin. So, their skin dries out and are able to absorb oxygen.

As we know,frogs breathe through their mosit skin..They love to be in mud.As here the respiration takes place.
