Why the gas cylinder cannot be half filled?

A gas can't be half filled because the molecules of gas don't come close like the solids. They always have a tendency to be filled up in a container. A gas cylinder cannot be half filledbecause of the following reasons: ...Gases are the fluid form of matter which occupy the entire container...
