Why the gay(homosexual) are not given equal status in the society? I'm feeling that from the society

I think this is a problem in Asian socities...they should be given equal status but some thinks that it will disturb common sexes..men and women.LGBT rights is in European countries and Australia but not in Asian socities as they're conservatives.

It is just because it is difficult to accept new things . Moreover this concept is not that familiar with asian people. They tend to look at it as unethical. But no one knows what's ethical or not. So i would suggest that people should try to prove themselves and their point very clearly.
