Why the heart of fishes is called venous heart

The heArt of fishes is called venus heart because it is very sensitive and it helps in swimming to fishes

Fish heart is called venous heart as it only receives blood from veins and pumps it directly to the gills for oxygenation. In fish's heart blood passes only once in one complete circuit.
