Well its a good question though.

So you want to know why heart has a weight less than that of body ?

Well, You know that animals move around in search of food,shelter and various other resources. If the weight of the heart was more than the body, dont you think it would be very difficult for the animals to move around.

And moreover why is there a requirement for heavier heart when the small ,light heart can function to its maximum requirement.

Animals have organs other than heart, if heart itself is heavier than the body, how to you think we will be able to accommodate other organs inside the body?
