The color of waste is not based on what was eaten. Waste gets it’s color from bilirubin, which is the product of dead red blood cells.

As you know, the yellow color is normal, so, putting 2 and 2 together, dead red blood cells are normal, too. RBCs live about 3 years (less in infants) and your body replaces the dead ones constantly because old ones die constantly, thus the constant yellow color.
