The reverberation time is larger for an empty hall than for a crowded hall because there are many sound absorbers.............

Hey mate here is ur ans
Sound waves get reflected from the walls and roof of room multiple times. This causes a single sound to be heard not once but continously. This is called reverberation..
And it happens because the room is empty and there are no any things that can abdorb the sound... If u see in our house there are many things like sofa, tv, fridge, etc it do the things to absorb the sound i.e the sound is not repeated... As opposite if u go in empty room the sound is repeated
