Why the ionisation.enthalpy of oxygenbis less than.nitrogen?

Oxygens atomic configration is 1s¹ 2s²2p4 and nitogens is 1s² 2s²2p³.
1) As the nitrogen accuries extra stability because of half filled 2p orbital, while oxygen can aquire stability by losing one electron. Thus oxygen can easily lose electron.
2) Nirogen requires more enegry to lose electron deu to extra stability . Therefore ionisation enthalpy of oxygen is less than that of Nitrogen
