Leaning Tower of Pisa started to lean a few years after it was built. The tower's foundations were built on soft subsoil which had difficulty supporting the tower's weight. When the second storey was started, the lean became noticeable and got worse as construction continued. The tower's tilt was partially corrected in the 20th century. It is amazing that the tower has remained standing for hundreds of years in spit if it's tilt.

When the tower was constructed long ago in the 12th century AD, there was a mistake. The engineers constructed the tower on a soft ground. It was not known until later. When the second floor was done, it started to lean a side.
while it was being constructed, the weight on one side was more. so it leaned and then it got balanced somehow.
