Why the length of small intestine vary in herbivores and carnivores?

because herbivores need to digest cellulose (grass)

Heya,

Length of small intestine vary in herbivores and carnivores.

This is because herbivores obtain their food from plants which contains mostly cellulose.

It takes longer time to digest cellulose than other substacne like meat.

Therefore carnivores have comparitively less small intestine than herbivores.
