Singapore is a well-developed country with regard to its population. There is a high awareness factor for good education, discipline and law and order in the country. The level of poverty is low and the government has implemented various plans for population planning and control.

Explanation:

  • The government of Singapore had implemented the population control program of ‘Stop at two’ which was very successful.
  • There was a decrease in birth rates and the government started many educational and other awareness campaigns for their people.
  • Soon the country modernized its policies and there were equal employment opportunities for the men and women.
  • Therefore the country is well maintained in regards to education and discipline due to which the negative effects of overpopulation would affect them.
