Male gamets are sperms .as they pass through the reproductive passage of female a no of sperms are destroyed due to acidic conditions .
The acidic conditions are to prevent infections from any bacteria or virus.
So till reacing the ampula of falopian tube where fertilization takes place a very few sperms are remaining .
So as to ensure that dertilization takes place.more no of male gametes are produced.
