Chlorophyll absorbs certain wavelengths of light within the visible light spectrum. Green light is not absorbed but reflected, making the plant appear green. Chlorophyll is found in the chloroplasts of plants.

Answer:

Snigdha p@tal

Explanation:

The upper part of the leaf has to be exposed to more sunlight so more photosynthesis can take place and in order to perform more photosynthesis the plant leaves have more chlorophyll concentration at the upper surface and thus it is darker at the top.
