Why the passenger sitting in a moving bus is pushed in the foewoed diration when th bus stop suddenly?

it happens coz..... while sitting in a moving bus we are in the inertia of motion..... then if the bus stops suddenly then 2 we r in motion so we move forward or we get a little push
