pH increases on diluting an acid bcoz acids usually have pH value 1-4,5 or 6 when we add water for dilution it goes to 7 but not more than that.
Same thing happens with base as pH of base usually have value after 7
when u heat the hydrated version of copper sulfate, the water dissipates from the compound to become from the blue copper sulfate pentahydrate to pure copper sulfate which is white.
