Why the plant cells are more rigid in shape than animal cells?

It is so because most of the cells in plants are dead cells due to that they have rigid cells than animal cells...

Explanation:

Plant cell are more rigid then animal cell coz plant cells contains cell wall where as there is absence of cell wall in animal cell. Cell wall is made up of cellulose. It gives plant cell it's shape.
