The Above Question has been taken from the lesson 'A Letter To God' by G.L.Fuents.

Answer :

When the postmaster showed the letter he broke out laughing but almost immediately he turned serious.He said to himself what faith ! I wish I had the faith of the man who wrote this letter. He collected the money from his employees and friends and he, himself gave a part of his salary.

Thus,he collected only 70 Pesos where the letter written wanted 100 Pesos. He send the money to Lencho and write 'From God.'

The postmaster send the money to Lencho so that his faith in God will remain Alive.

Lencho was a hardworking farmer. His house was situated on the crest of a low hill and only one in the entire valley. The halestones had completely destroyed the crop. He had a great faith in God. Therefore, he wrote a letter to God for help.
