Why the pressure is a scalar quantity while force is a vector quantity and force is directly proportional to the pressure

Pressure is a scalar quantity because it only has magnitude and no direction while force has both magnitude and direction that's why it is vector quantity.

Force is directly proportional to pressure as force increases then pressure also increases.
