hello dear good evening first of all let me clear you about what is exothermic reaction is

exothermic reaction is a type of reaction in which a large amount of heat is released during a reaction.

now if we talked about photosynthesis when all we know that photosynthesis require sunlight and sunlight gives heat energy to the plant and when heat energy is generated and there is a carbon dioxide and oxygen is also generated inside the body of the plant now when the carbon dioxide as well as oxygen molecules heat up in that case all the molecules of oxygen as well as carbon dioxide comes out through the process of photosynthesis and hence we say that photosynthesis is a exothermic reaction.
