Why the railway authorities facing many problems in India. plz ans this.

Railways being the largest public sector undertaking has varied and complex problems. Some of them are as under:

Its present railway network is overburdened and inadequate to meet the new challenges of a fast developing economy.Some regions are beyond the reach of railways due to unfavourable geographical conditions. These areas need to be opened to railways for removing regional inequalities in economic growth.

Now a days, almost all the railway coaches have garbage bins near the vestibule. Is it not the common man’s duty to put his cup into the binPeople are prepared to make dirt but not ready to travel in it. They expect the railway staff to perform their duties by keeping the coaches 100% clean but do not exercise even 10% of their responsibility of keeping clean themselves. Very few passengers, particularly in the AC coaches go and drop waste in the garbage bins.
