b cause  aquatic animals have only 2 chambered heart and with this they do a mechanism of DOUBLE CIRCULATION in which same blood comes twice in the heart for cotinuity of both process of respiration & double circulation fishes or aquatic animals do faster breating compared to that of the terrestial organisms.

Aquatic organisms use oxygen dissolved in surrounding water . Since air dissolved in water has fairly low concentration of oxygen , the aquatic organisms have much faster rate of breathing .

Terrestrial organisms take oxygen from

the oxygen-rich atmosphere through

respiratory organs . Hence , they have

much less breathing rate than aquatic

organisms .
