Why the rate of photosynthesis decreases if a plant is exposed continuously to light of

683 nm wave length?

The rate of photosynthesis is dependent on the wavelength of the the light which falls on the plant.

Explanation: As a result of this when the light of higher wavelength falls on the plant the the rate of photosynthesis decreases exponentially because photosynthesis is a first order Kinetic reaction.
