It is removed within four to six hours because when a person dies then for a short time period it's eye works and therefore it's said that only eye has the capacity to work for a short time period after the death. And after that short time period it's eye will also not work therefore it is also said that if any eye donor which is dead has to remove his eyes within four to six hours.
