◆ THE RIVERS IN NORTHERN INDIA ARE MOSTLY ORIGINATES FROM THE HIMALYAN RANGES , SO THEY CARRY WATER THROUGHOUT THE YEAR , THEY DONT DEPEND ON RAINFALL THATS WHY THEY ARE CALLED PERENNIAL RIVERS

South Indian rivers are seasonal in nature because the the rivers are not feed by the snow water or easily we can say that in south Indian there is no big mountain covered by snow so that it can feed water throughout the year. Mostly the rivers of southern India are feed by the rain water and the rain is seasonal, only during rainy season water can be found in south Indian rivers. So south Indian rivers are seasonal.✴️✴️✴️✴️
