Hii There!!!

Burning of \bf{Saturated\:Hydrocarbon} in the presence of air gives a \bf{clean\:blue\:flame} but the burning of \bf{unsaturated\:hydrocarbon} gives a \bf{black\:smoke} because, of the incomplete combustion in air.
Due to limit supply of air results in incomplete combustion which leads to release of black smoke called \color{Brown}{'Sooty\:Flame'}

Answer:

MARK ME AS BRAINLIEST

Explanation:

Unsaturated hydrocarbons like ethyne produce a yellow flame when burnt in oxygen due to incomplete combustion in air. The percentage of carbon is comparatively higher than that of alkanes and so does not get completely oxidized in air.
