because when the ion ionise from any elements so release a charge and attraction increases so ionisation energy increases

it is because after removal of one of the electrons the effective nuclear charge on the corresponding elements cation increases which leads to decrease in its atomic radius and thus to remove another electron a much higher energy is required. thus 2nd I. E. is higher than the 1st one
