It is because of the surface tension .The surface of water droplets is in tension and behaves like a stretched membrane.

Hey, mate here is your answer》》

This happens due to surface tension. The surface of the water droplet is always in tension and behaves like a stretched membrane. A molecule lying in the surface of the water droplet is pulled laterally and downward due to attracting forces of other adjacent molecules.

The pull operative on this molecule towards the right and the left is counter-balanced but the downward pull remains unbalanced since there is no molecule above to balance it.

This unbalanced attractive force operating on the surface molecules causes a tension tending to pull the molecules inwards. This inward pull operating on the surface molecules tends to give the minimum surface area to a liquid.

Since the area of a sphere is smaller than any other shape, thus liquid take a round or spherical shape to form droplets when dropped on surface.

Hope this answer will help you..《《

UMESHMEHER: what is the effect of temperature on viscosity
UMESHMEHER: please give the simple question
UMESHMEHER: sorry answer
1Angel24: The former effect causes a decrease in the shear stress while the latter causes it to increase. The result is that liquids show a reduction in viscosity with increasing temperature. With high temperatures, viscosity increases in gases and decreases in liquids, the drag force will do the same.
