why the sky appears blue??Explain in details​

when white light falls on the dust particles on the atmosphere ,if the size of the dust particles is equal to the wavelength of the blue colour of a light .then, the blue colour scatters towards the Earth and all the other colours scatters in different directions . Therefore, we can see the colour of the sky is blue.
