why the small intestine of herbivorous is longer than carnivorous

the small intestine is longer in herbivore than in carnivore because herbivores eats only grass which is full of cellulose. the digestion of cellulose takes long time. but for carnivores, it need small time for digestion as it takes only flesh of herbivores.

because their diet is grass and plants, made up of fibre and cellulose which are hard to digest. As a result the herbivorous animals need a longer digestive track to digest their foods completely.
