Hello dear,
The sunlight has to travel a longer distance in the morning through the atmosphere .The shorter wavelength gets scattered by the air molecules whereas, the longer wavelength are least scattered and enters our eyes.Since red light have longer wavelength then other colour of light. So,the sun appears reddish in the early morning or in the sunset.
