When sunlight hits the moon's surface, the temperature can reach 260 degrees Fahrenheit (127 degrees Celsius). When the sun goes down, temperatures can dip to minus 280 F (minus 173 C).

✔The temperature varies from 110°C to -190°C in moon because of no atmosphere. Atmosphere keeps the temperature constant it does not varies like this.

● But because there is no atmosphere the temperature varies very much. As atmosphere is the blanket of any planet. It always acts as a blanket.

● So if atmosphere would not have been present in our earth then the temperature may vary like this only.

● Hence atmosphere is a very important and essential component
