why the tip of a needle is sharp ?

As pressure is inversely proprtional to the area. That's why it is so.

SINCE , WE OBSERVE THE TIP OF NEEDLE IS BEING VERY SHARPED.

REASON:-    by definition of pressure we know,

                             pressure= force/ area

so from this formula, less is the area more is the pressure and more is the area ,less is the pressure.

since the tip of needle is have sharp to provide small surface area , which causes more pressure to pentrate the given objects.
