Because it has no modifications and corrections like a skeletal body.

Like our skeleton has so many pair of bones ....and of many types ..it does tell us the name of the bone or the location of the bone but it doesn't quantify it where as A skeleton equation is an equation that identifies the reactants and products in a chemical reaction by their chemical formula but does not quantify them.
