As your blood circulates it picks up things your body doesn't want, like excess salt and sugar, dead cells, toxins and any water that isn't needed.

It takes them to your kidneys.

kidneys

These organs are about the size of your fist.

They sit in the lower part of your back.

Inside your kidneys are little filters that remove the waste products from your blood and produce urine.

filters

Urine is mainly water, salts and a substance called urea.

water
salts
urea

The liver creates urea as it breaks down protein from the food you eat.

Urine also contains a small amount of a waste chemical called urobilin.

This is produced when your body recycles old blood cells.

urobilin

It's urobilin that gives urine its yellow colour.

urobilin
gives urine its yellow colour

This yellow liquid flows from the kidneys, through tubes called ureters, to the bladder.

ureters
bladder

As more and more urine is squirted into the bladder it expands like a balloon.

When it's full it can hold as much liquid as a can of soda.

Strong muscles at the bottom called sphincters stop it leaking out.

sphincters

When your bladder gets full, it tells your brain you need to go to the toilet.

The brain responds, telling the bladder to squeeze and to relax the sphincter muscles.

Urine then flows through a tube called the urethra and this yellow waste is excreted.

urethra

Urine is yellow because of the waste chemical urobilin.

heya Friend.....
here is your answer.....

the colour of the urine starts from pale-yellow and goes white.

if you will drink sufficient water according to your body the colour of the urine would be white and if a little bit less than sufficient,so light yellow and if not have drank sufficient water in the whole the yellow.

According to the question,This coloring is primarily caused by the pigment urochrome, also known as urobilin.

It means,The more water you drink, and the more hydrated you become, the lighter the pigment in your urine.

Everyone has a different “normal” when it comes to the color of urine.

This norm should fall on the yellow spectrum, though.

The amount of water you drink influences whether the color is a pale yellow or a dark amber.

People who drink more water and stay hydrated typically produce more diluted, pale urine compared to those who are dehydrated or consume less water.

If the color of your urine falls outside of this yellow spectrum, you should see a doctor.

This includes urine that’s cloudy or brown. You should also see a doctor if your urine is red, blue, or green.
