why the use of paper disposables is prefered over plastic disposables ?

Paper is biodegradable and it will got mixed with the soil but plastic is nonbiodegradable and it pollutes the mother earth . so paper disposables is prefered over plastic disposables

Disposable cups are advantageous over plastic cups as plastic is very harmful for the environment, non-biodegradable as well as a curse to the eco-system so it is better to use disposable paper cups which can be recycled easily.
