why the value of pi is 22/7 please tell me I need your help guys please don't disappoint me please please please

luckyjiYadav: π was not given the value of 227.227.

π = 3.141592653589793… A never ending Real number. It's an Irrational number, it can not be written in the form abab where aa and bb are coprime (their GCD is 11).

227 = 3.142857142857...227 = 3.142857142857... is a Rational number. Note that the 142857 after the decimal keeps on repeating infinitely.

Actually,

Value of π ≠ 22/7

Value of π is not equal to 22/7

π is an irrational number and according to the definition of irrational number, they are non terminating and non repeating. They doesn't have p/q form

But, 22/7 has a p/q form. Which means it's rational number.

This means π ≠ 22/7.

\textbf{So why is π taken as 22/7?}

π is taken as 22/7 because it's the closest rational approximation for π. Using 22/7 gives more rational values than using π.
Also it simplifies the final answer which is an advantage of using it.

It's an approximation of π

So what's the value of π??

Greek genius Archimedes showed that 3.140845 < π < 3.142857.

Aryabhatta found the value of π correct to four decimal places (3.1416)

π has computed to over 1.24 trillion decimal places!

So remembering the value of π?? Not possible yet for humans

Better luck in future!

Hope it helps dear friend ☺️✌️✌️
