why the vapour pressure of a solid solvent is independent of the solute ??​

In an solution the Solute and the solvent have different boiling points to be evaporated

Thus the solute may gets vaporised even though the solvent still remains there and vapours are independent and have some pressure according to the substances.

Ex sugar dissolved in water and boiled after it

You can see sugar is still there but water evaporates .
