why the water evaporate while the oil is not.

Hola!

Here is your answer -

Water and Oil are two liquids which don't mix.
Oil has larger molecules compared to water and thus it needs more energy to convert its state from solid to gas that is to evaporate.

Whereas water has small molecules and it needs less energy to change its state. So it evaporates easily.


However, Oil does evaporate, but it takes time. More time than that of water. It evaporates at 300°C

water evaporates because it has low boiling point than oil.
