because that year was the end of the second World war. untill then people were under great dippresion, because of the war defence expenditure raised so custom duties and taxes increases in order to meet them demands of the war. prices of essential goods increased.

  • so our national leader thought that this is the right time expent the strugglea for freedom
  • people were asked to join Anticolinal movement strikes and rallies went on
  • British government imposed martial law. due to this many people were died
