There is need of both hormonal amd nervous system in humans . Because the nervous system allow humans to co - ordinate fast . Nervous system make our reaction fast to a stimuli .

But it cannot be used for a steady co-ordination of body . Like growing is a slow and steady process . So , in such cases the role of hormone is important. Though the co-ordination through hormone is slow but it is steady .

Thus , nervous an hormonal both are important for humans .
